A leisurely perusal of the Sunday papers has become something of a cultural institution in England. So on a sunny Sunday morning when I was in walking in the park in Bournemouth, I spotted this quintessential scene – people sitting in blue and white striped deckchairs, reading the Sunday papers on a freshly mowed lawn. This is my painting of that scene.
